Screen Time Re-Visited

Screen Time Re-Visited

Recently I took care of a friend’s baby and toddler. It was lots of fun, though admittedly also tedious and boring at times. I managed well enough even as I tried my best to resist checking my phone for new messages and emails while the kids were in my care. The task proved far more challenging than I had anticipated.

At least I know I’m not alone. Raising small children without screen time these days is far more difficult than it was a decade or so ago. I hope my latest thoughts on the subject will give mothers and fathers the support and motivation they need to create a healthy balance for their kids (and for themselves) when it comes to screen time.
